We are Hiring Retail Sales & Product Associates

Full and Part-Time

We're looking for a few great customer service-focused full and part time retail sales & product associates to join the Annex Photo team.

The position is responsible providing customer service and support for an innovative high-profile retail store location in Downtown Toronto. 

Must be available to work weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and service skills.
• Responsible for customer service in-store, over the phone, via email and social media platforms, customer order intake, locating customer orders and completing sales.
• Socialize and interact with customers in-store and online, assist with product inquires, provide thorough and accurate product knowledge and guidance on items available for purchase, and up sell/cross sell products.
• Responsible for assisting customers with ordering photos and other products in-store, over the phone and online.
• Assist in the creation, organization and maintenance of digital content on various social media platforms and website.
• Maintain, manage and organize merchandise, as well as the overall look of the store.
• Activities include arranging product, monitoring of merchandise displays, creating and maintaining a “DIY” space, inventory control, general housekeeping and stocking shelves as required.
• Ability to quickly resolve any in-store issues that may arise.
• Work with the management to develop action plans to drive top line sales growth and in the creation of new programs and services.

Skills / Education

• 1-3 years previous experience working as a retail sales associate, preferably with photo or other technical products. 
• Customer focused, with a strong understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
• Strong familiarity with various photographic film mediums.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong computer skills and technical ability.
• Experience with Photoshop and other photographic editing and graphic design software and platforms.
• Experience with various social media platforms.
• Self-motivated individual with high degree of energy, enthusiasm and dedication.
• Creative thinker, ability to think out-of-the-box.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive and enthusiastic, takes initiative. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to relate with customers, fellow workers and store management effectively.
